Midsumma Festival
As the 2005-2006 Midsumma Visual Arts Director Ros was responsible for orchestrating the exhibition, presentation and performance of new queer work, providing a platform for innovation and development in visual arts practice.
This included among others Liquid Aesthetics@ the Black Box, Twelve Exits @CCP & The Big Picture Tram Project. She produced three Queer Street programs, curating and coordinating a series of 16 exhibitions, solo and group shows, of emerging and established artists. All of these exhibitions were in public spaces, most with 24/7 viewing. As a component of Queer Street, Ros was instrumental in creating Girls on the Floor, a special event with mixed shots of avant-garde moving image and performance work.
